To reproduce: 

1.Project -> Project Manager.
  Project Manager dialog is displayed.
2.New button is pushed.
  Two or more projects are created.
3.Delete button is pushed.
  One project other than the project used now is deleted.
4.The project tab of Explorer will be deleted.(Image1.gif)

Which version of IDE are you using? This issue is fixed since 
release33 build #200111280300 (see issue #18088). Changes made in 
release33 branch has been merged to trunk yesterday and in todays dev 
build (#200201110100) it works fine. Please reopen the bug if it 
really occures in dev builds younger then 2002-01-11. Thanks!
