When you have multiple windows open (e.g. Editor, Options, ..) on the desktop area in MDI, you have to go to second submenu of Windows menu to switch between those windows. I would find it much more convenient if the list of windows on current workspace would be directly in the window menu, as it is usual in many software products.

Target milestone -> 3.4
Evaluation: Yes, this is clear and right to do IMO as well.
Yep, will be probably tightly coupled with 11010.

just a quick question: why the radio buttons next to the window titles?
Ask Jano Rojcek. He suggested it. IMO it is to make clear what window is currently selected. I think it is good.
Selected radio button indicates frame that contains active view (TopComponent). Other window menu actions like "Frame Resides", "Attach MDI Frame" are performed with that window.
Resolved for 3.4.x or earlier, no new info since then -> closing.
