Description cezariusz 2007-02-19 15:47:17 UTC
NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 200702131900)
1.5.0_11; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.5.0_11-b03
Windows XP version 5.1 running on x86
pl_PL (nb); UTF-8

Dualscreen configuration, secondary monitor extends desktop to the right. The
resolution of the secondary monitor is higher (primary 1024x768, secondary
1280x1024). NetBeans is maximized on the secondary monitor - the contents of
the output windows is scrambled.
Comment 1 cezariusz 2007-02-20 09:11:15 UTC
Same with CVS Diff panels.

Note: resizing NetBeans windows to the size less or equal the resolution of
the primary monitor solves the problem (but you lose benefits of higher
resolution).

Do you experience similar problems even with other applications or just with NB? Please try latest build of 6.0. I've
just tried described scenario and it works as expected.

Works ok with more recent build and Java 6.0.

Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 200706180000) Java: 1.6.0; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.6.0-b105 System:
Windows XP version 5.1 running on x86; Cp1250; pl_PL (nb) Userdir: C:\Documents and Settings\Cezar\.netbeans\dev
Comment 4 cezariusz 2007-10-25 15:21:23 UTC
Reproduced again.

System: Windows XP version 5.1 running on x86; Cp1250; pl_PL (nb)

I've got few more questions, sorry.

- Does it happen with other java applications?
- Could you please attach screenshot?
- You mentioned it was once OK, and than you reproduced it again. Are there any specific steps to reproduce?

Thanks

>> Does it happen with other java applications?

Eclipse works ok.

>> Could you please attach screenshot?

Yes, I will.

>> You mentioned it was once OK, and than you reproduced it again.

I'm not sure if it really was OK, or I had just a different configuration (for example the higher resolution monitor
was a primary monitor).

>> Are there any specific steps to reproduce?

Just the secondary monitor has to have a higher resolution. Moving NetBeans to the primary monitor makes it work OK.

Two things have changes since the original issue:
1. Resizing the window on the secondary monitor no longer prevents scrambling the output window, but it helps for
projects tree and source window.
2. Now not only the output window gets scrambled while scrolling, but also other windows (see the screenshots).
