Normally developer will use the netbeans for better efficiency. That means they could do the same work by hand or other tools, but netbeans could help them to do it faster, better, easier. So if we have any statistics to help their efficiency? If we got the user's every clicked component name and timestamp. Then we could found the 80% most tasks of their daily job. And then we could simpilfied it. For example, only display the 20% most used menu/button/icon in the first view, and hide the others in a menu named as "Advanced" or "More" How about record all the clicks name and timestamp in some trial version? And read/analyze the log file will help the user experience a lot.
