Hi Looks like currently there is no way to view a current open file in files tab window... i.e right click (for eg) on Opened File tab in UI and there is no way for user to locate where exactly(in which folder/package) it is in files or projects tab window. This feature will be very useful.... Please consider it... Basically it should highlight that file in left panel tab window... (in the tree or list view) Thanks belurs
Actually we alrady have this feature : Select in Projects, Files, Favorites All these three actions are available from Navigate main menu. If you are looking for someting else, please be more specific.
It's done
I dont think you understand... Let me elaborate... 1>Open say 5 Files from different packages . 2>Now For the First File I want to see the file in File Tab/project tab...Lets say be right click on File Name(Opened File..First File) Tab and click some action like "Show In File Tab" for example See the problem currently is If i have quite few files open, to select the first file in Left Panel , I have to search again .... I knwo its nothing great..point i am trying to make is if i have many files open then I have to keep scrolling in File Tab to search for it. A simple "select in File tab" will fix this issue.. belurs
Passing to projects, I think that "link with editor" feature would solve this - always have edited file also selected in projects/files view.
