This Bugzilla instance is a read-only archive of historic NetBeans bug reports. To report a bug in NetBeans please follow the project's instructions for reporting issues.
Since the new Bugzilla version numbers have been added, I have several times encountered the following situation: - I create a bug in some module (e.g. clazz, vcscvs, etc.). I set its Version to "Development Trunk". - I submit it. - I revisit it, make some minor change (e.g. additional comment) and resubmit. - Bugzilla says that the version number is no longer valid for this component (has a special page to say this). It shows the version number being 1.00 or 1.01 or something, which is incorrect. I set the version back to Development Trunk and continue, which works.
I have seen bug change mails come in with "Development Trun" -> "1.00" changed, which obviously was not intentional. Could the truncation of "Trunk" (excuse the pun!) be related to this?
Marking as duplicate of 8277 assuming this is the root cause. If not, please reopen of course! *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 8277 ***
