Description yamilbracho 2006-04-20 15:42:10 UTC
From time to time, the ide losts the web browser configuration and when i
tried to execute my web project or a particular page (say login.jsp) i starts
the internal web server but when try to run the browser, it shows a screen
with the following message

Could not access the URL through the external browser. Check the browser
configuration, From the Tools menu, choose Options. Click 'Classic View'
Button, exapnd IDE Configuration/Server and External Tool Settings node, then
expand Web Browsers and choose valid browser.

I have this problems twice and the first time I solved by resinstalling
NetBeans

By the way the Classiv View must be Advanced Options

TIA

reassigning to core/options
Comment 3 Jan Jancura 2006-06-11 15:20:45 UTC
> editor-options

Core maintains just core/options, so I reassigned all those issues that were
originally assigned to editor. If you think that some of them fall into
core/options please reassign them selectively back.
Comment 5 Miloslav Metelka 2006-06-28 10:41:20 UTC
Not an editor settings related. Reassigning back to core.
Comment 6 rmatous 2006-06-28 15:01:51 UTC
Works for me, but I have a misty feeling that I ran into it once in the past. I
checked its customization via Options dialog and this behaviour seems to be
correct. Maybe the problem is somewhere in NbDdeBrowserImpl. So, I would like to
ask for evaluation.

This seems to be pretty old now. Is it still happening?
