IDE should provide action "Create Project from Ant Script" that would create
freeform project from selected Ant script (In Projects or Files view) by
starting the wizard with selected script and with basedir found in the script as
project folder and project content folder.

Probably won't be needed once we have Automatic Projects.

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.
