Description ieising 2006-02-07 06:47:24 UTC
Hi,

Now that more and more AUCs pop-up on the net, I find it a true mistery why I
first need to add a new AUC and than select the AUC to set its URL, why not have
a second page in the Add AUC wizard that has you set the URL? That way, people
don't forget to set it, as I did twice already.

Comment 1 Marian Mirilovic 2006-02-07 08:11:07 UTC
Agreed, it has to be implemented in the next NB release.
Comment 2 Jesse Glick 2006-08-07 17:25:31 UTC
IMHO configuration of update centers should be done in the AU wizard.
Comment 3 Jiri Rechtacek 2006-08-07 17:43:55 UTC
It's already tracked one of planned changes in AutoUpdate in the next release.
Comment 4 Jiri Rechtacek 2007-02-15 08:33:48 UTC
Josef, could you get a draft of Settings tab in Plug-in Manager UI? Thanks

Radek, it probably need some improvement of Autoupdate API. This task should be
close to handling locally downloaded NBMs. We should talk over it during
implementation. Thanks
Comment 5 Jaromir Uhrik 2007-03-28 17:47:17 UTC
Since it will be possible to add/modify the update center from the Plugin
Manager so that this functionality can disappear form NetBeans Advanced Options
dialog.
Comment 6 Jiri Rechtacek 2007-04-27 08:31:37 UTC
Fixed in NB6/M9.
