This issue is present in build 200511131900
Can not reproduce with the sam build. Can you reproduce it with empty userdir? Can you attach step by step how to reproduce?
It's reproducible in the following way. 1. Start with empty userdir 2. Press tools/options 3. Press cancel 4. Invoke options dialog again 5. Press Advanced Options button I don't think it's necessary to open another bug report for this. I will open another one if you insist.
Not sure about the fix it yesterday bit - I am now on Netbeans 5 Beta 2 (and Mustang b60), and discovered the bug (and was about to submit a bug report until I bump into this one!) The procedure provided in the first place by the reporter is exactly how one reproduces the bug!

This issue is really annoying, specially because I use Advanced Options a lot.
It's reproducible on all platforms and all OSs.

I am probably asking a stupid question here - but where do I find build 20051122-0944? I can at most see build 200511211900 around....
I am sorry but it is our internal build at Sun. Only daily builds are published at web site. Anyway, you can build it yourself if you checkout sources with proper timestamp.

Tested on Mustang Build 61 with NB5 daily build 200511231900 - problem persists.

can not reproduce. If you are able to reproduce this bug, fire a new issue with correct how to reproduce steps and priority, please.
Reopening. Users are reporting duplicates. This bug is visible.

Steps to reproduce: 1. Open IDE with new userdir. 2. Open Options dialog. 3. Go to Editor | General. 4. Uncheck Auto Popup Completion Window. 5. Go to Advanced Options. 6. Click Yes on the dialog (this time it's ok). 7. Close old Options dialog. 8. Open new Options dialog. 9. Go to Advanced Options. -> Confirmation dialog appears now. It appears every time even if no changes were made.
Given the number of duplicates increasing priority to P2 - high resinstance is close. Such bug should not appear in final release - too many people would encounter it. Thanks for understanding.
This is a typical regression, as I've already told to Hans (4-times fixed & reopened so far).
As you can see from commit log, the bug is each time caused by different piece of code. As you can see there are each time different how to reproduce section. Can you *PLEASE*, fire different bugs for different usecase. PLEASE, PLEASE it will help me.
