Description Jan Chalupa 2005-03-17 12:59:16 UTC
[custom build of 2005-03-16 sources, JDK 1.6 b24 and 27]

Open a form in NetBeans. Look at the Source and Design multi-view buttons. '...'
is displayed instead of the real button titles.

Not sure if this is a NetBeans or JDK issue. Milos, please investigate.
Comment 1 Milos Kleint 2005-03-22 09:58:49 UTC
it could be related to #51404 but that one is macOS related.
it doesn't happen in 1.4/1.5
Comment 2 Milos Kleint 2005-03-30 13:15:08 UTC
happens in winxp L&F only, also with build 29

Comment 8 _ alexlamsl 2005-11-07 10:59:07 UTC
since the problem persists for build 58:

1) is there a relevant JDK issue submitted?

2) can there be any (simple) workaround if possible?
Comment 9 Milos Kleint 2005-11-11 09:22:52 UTC

If this is specific to JDK 1.6, then why doesn't this problem occur under
Linux, which is also running JDK 1.6?
Comment 17 Marian Mirilovic 2006-01-10 16:48:35 UTC
dbauer,
what is the build number of your JDK 6.0, when you are not able to reproduce the
problem?
Comment 18 Jan Chalupa 2006-01-10 17:18:21 UTC
Re "why doesn't this problem occur under Linux, which is also running JDK 1.6?".

Because the component sizes are computed from metrics that are L&F Specific. For
details, see
