The dd editor is really great and helpful. But, to
me it creates the impression that EVERYTHING
related to web.xml can be done in dd editor. But,
for example, the following cannot be done in dd
editor: 

<taglib>
<login-config>
<security-constraint>

I think that everything described in web.xml
schema should be possible in dd editor. (I realize
that this will not be done for 4.1 and that it
probably is planned for later, but just wanted to
enter this issue for the record.)

References View
 - EJB References
 - EJB Local References
 - Env Entries
 - Resource References
 - Resource Env References
 - Service References
 - Message Destination References

Security View :
 - Login Config
 - Security Constraints
 - Security Role References (for servlets)

It was not time to implement everything for 4.1
That was not the goal.

Update on this: References View and Security View have been implemented, adding 
tag libraries in dd editor is not planned for 5.5.

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.
