Description meliandra 2004-08-19 10:07:40 UTC
[ BUILD # : 200408121535 ]
[ JDK VERSION : J2SE 1.5.0 ]

I'm used to Netbeans 3.6 and have problems to set up my project with 4.0.

The requirement of setting up a project is to specify a different jdk-version and a target directory that is defferent from the project directory.

I found some documentation about how to change the jdk-version. But I'm not a ant guru and I'm not able to do this with this documentation. At least I'm used to set up a project in five minutes without reading documentation.

I don't find any documentation how I can change the target directory.

For 4.0, the target directory for compilation of a standard Java
project is "build/classes", and various other build products go into
build/ or dist/. All these paths are customizable in
project.properties if you need them to be. There is not intended to be
any supported (GUI) customization of these directories (at least for
4.0), though you can do so in the properties file if you wish, and
this may be added later to online tips in the knowledge base.
