[WinXP, XP L&F] I looked closely on all kids of tabs in IDE and realized that each type look very differently. I mean editor tabs, component palette tabs, properties tabs, debugger window tabs. I will attach screenshots of each type, please consider that they differ in: colors, height, label alignment, expressing focus, spacing related to neighbors, ... All screenshots were taken after one click on the active tab. I undestand that each tab represents something else (TopComponent, Property sheet) and are implemented in various modules, but some kind of consistency would be good.

Passing to Jano, to think about it.
This is just as horrible in the Metal look and feel. Its particularly bad in SDI mode for the Output window, where the outer layer of tabs (typically Output & Execution) look completely different from the inner layer of tabs (Compiler, XML Check, Debugger Output etc).
