User problem:

The versioning functions are usable on a per-file
basis, but more global tasks are hard to perform -
e.g. Figure out what needs update, what to check
in, etc.

User need:

The user needs the versioning be be integrated in
a way that supports both per-file operations (i.e.
I know what files I am working on and what their
VCS status is) and global ones (Do I have the most
up to date version, what are the diffs, which
branch do I use, what is the diff between my local
version and the VCS).

Product requirement:
-----------------------------------
Better versioning integration, perhaps using a new
TreeTable view for global operations. Simplified
for non-VCS experts.

One specific thing that would be nice - marking folders
which contain modified files (or non-up-to-date ones?).

Issue is to general to metric.
