change the label 'Build before startup' to when an execution profile is selected in the list: 'Build before running' when a debugging profile is selected in the list: 'Build before debugging' extrapolate: the general type of profile should be able to change the label (so if there are deployment profiles the label would read 'Build before deploying'). if this isn't possible let me know and we'll have to come up with something different.
Please try to use more precise values for component and subcomponent fields when filing bugs. On the other hand, if the boundary betweem java and infrastructure part is not noticeable even to the development team member, it's actually good news for us.
Chris, could we try to think about some generic label which will not depend on the profile category name? Now each category has its display name like Execution, Debugging, Deployment, etc. The problem is that it's substantive and you are asking for verb like running or deploying. It's bad to enforce all profile category providers to provide some special string just because we need it for some ui control which might eventually dissapear later when you redesign profiles customizer ;-).
