Operating System = Windows 10 version 10.0 running on amd64
Java; VM; Vendor = 9.0.1
Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 9.0.1+11

Reproducibility: Tried, but couldn't reproduce it

STEPS:
  * Open dialog Foo
  * Click on button "Click me"

ACTUAL:
  nothing happens

EXPECTED:
  message pops up

NetBeans 8.2 does not work with JDK 9. Please use JDK 8 instead and read here for more information: https://jaxenter.com/netbeans/using-apache-netbeans-incubating-jdk-9
