Product Version = NetBeans IDE 8.1 (Build 201510222201)
Operating System = Windows 10 version 10.0 running on amd64
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.8.0_77
Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 25.77-b03

Reproducibility: Happens sometimes, but not always

STEPS:
  Use IDE normally.
  (I have web project opened)

ACTUAL:
  "Checking for external changes -> Suspended" appears automatically at random times and wont finished. 
  Then it uses anormal processor consumption (very high).
  Needs to reboot IDE to have it stop because canceling the action only stops the problem for a few minutes before it comes back.

The same here. Netbeans 8.2, Linux Mint Xfce.
