Product Version = NetBeans IDE 8.2 (Build 201609300101)
Operating System = Windows 7 version 6.1 running on amd64
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.8.0_111
Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 25.111-b14

Reproducibility: Happens every time

STEPS:
  * Click on a link at Help-About www.netbeans.org

ACTUAL:
cannot reach site -  Browser getting stack in the loop.

EXPECTED:
   netbeans.org opens up

Why? the link goes to http://www.netbeans.org
The site now is httpS://netbeans.org and redirection is not configured right nether from http to https or from www to naked domain, The browser loops back and forward between http-https-www eating your DNS requests!
