Xian_404: I have 8GB of RAM, looks like NBs had gobbled up all available, 7.6GBs, and became unresponsive. Maybe a memory leak? FYI, love the app, you guys are doing a great job! ruckus17: Downloading ftp files and all of a sudden quit and logged me out leightonbao: ??????????odp??????????????????????????????cpu?????? ????debian amd64. mail:leightonbao@gmail.com doctordog: After BIG updates on my remote server - NetBeans starts to work so slow. And then I use 'kill ' on my Mac Os to remove this proccess. GUEST: ni idea de que error es GUEST: View content of tables on Postgresql used to work just fine, now I have to supply limit or it runs out of memory. GUEST: I think I was uploading a lot of files. Not really sure. Like after performing "npm install" or something. GUEST: No idea GUEST: Tried to navigate to the declaration of a class called "Formats". This took a long time, so I tried to cancel. This made Netbeans unresponsive. I killed the application which was currently debugging, but had to then kill Netbeans too. GUEST: Debuging REST web service GUEST: Netbeans was in the background and I was doing something else when it crashed. ashokkumarsand: Its hang and unable to use other opreations GUEST: <Please provide a description of the problem or the steps to reproduce> GUEST: there is always problem GUEST: I was doing a few things. I think it got tied up on doing a diff from git history GUEST: don't know GUEST: just started netbeans as machin is started. GUEST: downloading a project from remote ftp GUEST: <Please provide a description of the problem or the steps to reproduce> When a webproject with infinite loop is deployed in glassfish debug mode and the debug is terminated the webproject continues to run on the server in an infinite loop that can not end and the process of netbeans has to be killed in order for everything to work properly again. swilk: I have added the Twitter Bootstrap sources to one of my projects. I have setup them with `npm install` and run `grunt` to compile. The NB started to scan and upload all of those and this and other exceptions started to appear. vkvashin: externally building projects opened in IDE chemFelix: Running a (moderately) CPU intensive job in Glassfish, Netbeans opened a dialog asking for GF admin console credentials (this happens from time to time also under normal circumstances, even though NB has the credentials) and became irresponsive (using significant CPU for prolonged time). Therefore, I killed it using kill -9 (normal kill did not work any more). GUEST: Wanted to start Debugging Session GUEST: sync/upload via ftp => out of memory GUEST: NetBeans Conector was debugging a very large HTML page. NetBeans mentioned that fact and asked if I wish to stop debugging. I chose not to and NetBeas seemed to have ran into memory issues thereafter. GUEST: <Ctrl+z stop and data forget> GUEST: It happend during parsing herlandercs: Netbeans works in very slow. GUEST: doing background scanning and just locked up.... was not running any debug or anything. GUEST: Left minimized overnight GUEST: ??????? GUEST: this software is too slow and the programs are not compliing fast GUEST: Hangs GUEST: a GUEST: left netbeans running GUEST: Using eclipse parallel, memory was low GUEST: Probably debugging and viewing a rather large array by mistake garbi: running a JavaEE application for a long time and having the log displaied in NetBeans GUEST: IDE slowed down until it became unresponsive GUEST: Nothing especial, normal php files editing GUEST: Swithing files/tabs in editor GUEST: Was unresponsive after leaving it overnight. GUEST: freeze GUEST: I simply started up NB, and it kept doing some background task - could have been "background scanning of projects" - it chewed up close to 100% of my cpu and eventually crashed. GUEST: checking out project from svn chenfli: locate a file via Ctrl +R, The IDE Stucks. I restart the machine. GUEST: no idea GUEST: During normal editing of a Java file Netbeans just stopped responding. narensgh: Please provide a description of the problem or the steps to reproduce GUEST: I was sending files via sftp GUEST: I was trying to run my project. Anytime i am also working, the netbeans just eat up a whiole lot of my PC's RAM GUEST: While an ASPX file editing by using NetBeans GUEST: Trying to update the CDNJS repository listing of JS libraries. It downloads a file, which according to what I looked at by copying the URL from a dialogue in Netbeans status window, is about 3 gigabytes in size. It took some time, but I think this might not be the core of the issue. The crash however comes later, probably either during some operations (parsing?) the file contents or perhaps doing some operation which just requires ad-hoc more memory than well-whatever-NetBeans-is-using can provide or take. :) GUEST: OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space GUEST: When i hit ctrl+space to code completition in javascript file program crash. Generaly code completition list opening too slow. GUEST: System locked up while trying ot do a build. GUEST: Edit a file and Format with Eclipse Formatter whilst simultaneously running a gdb debug session. GUEST: <Please provide a description of the problem or the steps to reproduce> got struck when added a database and ran query GUEST: a crosati: --- jamiepeloquin_nf: Quitting Netbeans GUEST: Include the google ad words api php library in your code typing "$this" crashes net beans, probably because it tries to load the entire massive library? GUEST: Optimizing NN using GA for 770+ minutes... GUEST: git was uploading git reset --hard to remote server GUEST: It was using almost all of my memory and I couldn't login GUEST: Using Mongo DB GUEST: While profiling my application looking for memory leak, seems like netbeans have the same problem, lol. GUEST: Run J2EE project. herlandercs: Block with fletching files. GUEST: very slow GUEST: It was slow, super slow GUEST: It just went 'boom' when I was comming something in git GUEST: running a java app for more than 8 hours GUEST: Netbeans hang cannot click, I developed a project JEE GUEST: I needed to restart the program GUEST: Synchronising a large project over sftp GUEST: json?rb???????????
