Chrome Netbeans connetor only works once after manual installation from Netbeans source folder. And requires the same process to use the connector again.

Reassigning for further evaluation. Maybe this is a duplicate of issue #254083. Can you please give it a try with the latest development build [1] of NetBeans IDE 8.1 where it should already work?

This is a duplicate of issue 254083 that has been fixed in the latest
development builds of NetBeans (the root cause is an unexpected change in the
layout of Google Chrome configuration files). We are just in the process of
releasing a patch for NetBeans 8.0.x. So, you can install and use the
development build of NetBeans available at
http://bits.netbeans.org/download/trunk/nightly/latest/ for now and you should
be able to update your NetBeans 8.0.x build in few days (using Tools > Plugins
menu).
