Hello, I have the same problems described i.e. in https://netbeans.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=249270 When I start netbeans and go for JS debugging it asks me to install pugin to chrome. When I do so (does not matter what method I use - usually I am using drag & drop method), everything is working fine until I close chrome and restart debugging. After restart, known dialog window appears and asks me to install extension again even it is installed. So I go to chrome extensions, uninstall and drag and drop the crx from netbeans distro. Everything works fine until... I tried to find solution in the bugzilla and inernet but I did't find anything. I also completely uninstalled chrome (really completely, including deleting all google registry keys and folders) as well as NetBeans. I downloaded latest NB8.0.2 and chrome, but I still experience the same issue. Is there anything I can do to help you find out what is going on? Collect log, try older versions, whatever? Thanks, Franta
This is a duplicate of issue 254083 that has been fixed in the latest development builds of NetBeans. We are just in the process of releasing a patch for NetBeans 8.0.x. So, you can install and use the development build of NetBeans available at http://bits.netbeans.org/download/trunk/nightly/latest/ for now and you should be able to update your NetBeans 8.0.x build in few days (using Tools > Plugins menu). *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 254083 ***
Great, thanks for quick response.
