After installing the Chrome Connector plugin, NetBeans asks to reinstall it every time the Chrome browser is restarted.

The user reporting this sees the problem on Windows 10 Pro, not on his other machine Windows 7 Pro. On the Chrome Connector plugin site, in the Chrome Web Store, many others have reported the same problem, i.e., the plugin needs to be reinstalled repeatedly. Possibly the problem is Window 10 Pro specific.

This is a critically important features in NetBeans IDE and must be fixed for 8.1.

Reporter installed the latest development build (on 08/24) and the issue cannot be reproduced anymore.

Note that the problem is fixed when the dev build of NetBeans IDE 8.1 is used together with 1.1.5 version of the Chrome Connector plugin. The current version in the Chrome Webstore is 1.1.2, which (a) is old and (b) does not work correctly, i.e., has the same problem of needing to constantly be reinstalled, when the dev build of NetBeans IDE 8.1 is used.
