While working on related bugs, please update the Jython version listed on the description for the Jython distribution Plugin to match the ACTUAL version of Jython. 

The Plugin with Jython 2.7 RC3 currently reads: 
Version: 2.12 Source: Development

Bundled distribution of Jython 2.5.1

When you update Jython to the latest version 2.7.0,
Please also change the label and version (found elsewhere) to read as follows:

Version: 2.7.0

Bundled distribution of Jython 2.7.0

I modified the update to o.jython.distro/manifest and other places (dependencies) to reflect a "short" version (2.7) so that the minor version can change without having to change it in half a dozen places. We can use this "short" version for all dependencies in 2.7.x releases of Jython. 
Going forward, when updating to a newer Jython release, to update the version "label" the engineer will only need to update OpenIDE-Module-Long-Description to indicate major/minor version.
Example from Bundle.properties: "Bundled distribution of Jython 2.7.0"
