This bug was originally marked as duplicate of bug 181584, that is already resolved. This bug is still valid, so this seems to be another bug, but it might be related.

To diagnose this problem we need more information. Can you provide some information, what you were doing when AWT got locked? It looks like NetBeans was displaying big html file in editor, but it is not clear what operation triggered it.
