Whenever I try to file a new bug (Help -> Report Issue...") from NB, the "Report a New Task" window comes up, but the only thing displayed in it is "Preparing...". "Preparing task..." is displayed in the Status Bar. The progress bar is moving. Eventually I get a dialog that says: I/O Error occurred while communicating with https://netbeans.org/bugzilla. ConnectTimeoutException: The host did not accept the connection within timeout of 60000 ms I'm don't think it's a network or even a proxy issue. I can run "Help -> Update" and everything works. "Test Connection" on the "General" Tab on the NB Options dialog also returns with a green checkmark. I have NB configured for "Manual Proxy Settings". It has the correct corporate HTTP Proxy URL and Port. I also has a number of No Proxy Hosts (for internal systems.) "netbeans.org" is not in this list. My browsers successfully load https://netbeans.org/bugzilla Can someone please tell me what I might be missing? NB 8.0.2 JDK 1.8.0_31 Windows 7 The Windows proxy settings are correct as well. And the proxy Java environment settings are also set in _JAVA_OPTIONS.
