When typing something (the line needs to be wider than the screen - no wrapping), NetBeans keeps "jumping" the horizontal scroll to the left. There is a user video on YouTube that shows this behavior: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LVdiDTHDitk&feature=youtu.be
Probably general editor issue. Reassigning for evaluation.
Not just mac bug. I'm seeing same behavior on Win 7. I see it in 8.0.1 (build 201408251540) and it is quite annoying. I temporarily have a smaller screen and many lines are just barely past the width of my screen. Text just jumps everywhere while typing or even moving the cursor. Also, possible duplicate of Bug 237261.
I have the same problem in 8.0.2 on win7, when editing PHP-files. It seems like it's when the editor do some syntax-checks. It's VERY annoying!
Was working in junit test files with lines outside of the screen. Lines are not long though, less than 200 chars. Seems to be platform and language independent, increasing priority.
This is the same problem like issue 242743 fixed yesterday. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 242743 ***
