When editing text on a wrapped line, text in editor window jumps up and then back down vertically shortly after a keystroke. It looks like the cursor jumps to the beginning of the line and then back to the current position. During this time, the screen automatically scrolls (to keep the position?). This has been present since at least 7.2. Experienced on several macs running Snow Leopard.
You wrote "beginning of line", which is left-right or horizontal. The bug title and description say vertical which is up-down. That jump would be perhaps from down in your code up to the import lines, then back down to the code body. Is this an up/down jump, or a left/right jump?
This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue. Thanks for your cooperation, NetBeans IDE 8.2 Release Boss
