Product Version = NetBeans IDE 8.0.1 (Build 201408142300) Operating System = Windows 7 version 6.1 running on amd64 Java; VM; Vendor = 1.8.0_11 Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 25.11-b03 current setting: Tools, Options, Apperarance, Multirow tab = 5 - Open a couple of files of diverse projects in NetBeans editor - Close a project - Close and re-open NetBeans *Sometimes* [ yet not reproducable :( ] a file of the closed project is still open in the editor. Pressing Ctrl-Shift-1 (goto file in project tree) opens the dialog "Open project xxx?". Mysteriously.

I have a Netbeans 8.1 project, which does it every time. I have multi row tabs enabled, one per project. When project is closed and another is still open, documents go into one row. When projects are closed and its file is open from Git changes window, it appears without tab ear (name and closing cross).
