When debugging a Maven project twice, if the active configuration is checked in the Options|Maven|Execution settings, that configuration is appended to the tab name for the output pane but not for the debug session name in the Debugging pane. It would be easier to identify sessions if the configuration was added there as well.

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.
