Implement symbolic referencies to installed tools,
both standalone or
platform-bundled. The system should contain a
layer, which can translate symbolic tool name
stored in the project to names known by the IDE
installation on the particular machine. This
mapping should be stored in project private settings.
This feature may prove useful in project system in
general, if smoothly implemented.

Removed PROJECTS keyword since this task does not relate to projects. The
projects prototype has been canceled. For more details see
