Currently the number of log file generations is three. I have had several issues that I reported wheren cases where I should have kept the log files but discovered too late that I needed the log files so I lost them. To have log files going back further becomes more important since NetBeans has clearly become much more mature, and as a consequence of this, the type of issues become trickier where analysing log files going back in time becomes critical. It would help the issue reporting very much, while the cost of keeping the files is almost nil. In comparison, please consider the amount of disk space used by the cache.
