7.  It would be great to be able to put in the Execute capability for projects.
    Can it be something simple, e.g., where pressing Execute shows a dialog that
    lets the user select the main class?  "Main class" could even be a property
    on the project itself, so that enterprising users could set it beforehand.

Project Main Class property is now accessible on project's node, it allows to choose 
some of executable classes in the project. Also Project | Execute Project action is 
available.
