With use of the VCS API enable VCS operations on projects. This involves number of tasks, like diff operation on ".project" file, executing VCS commands of multiple files, etc.
Changing to task and reassigning to David, to make it happen! For M3 propose a design, define the APIs and decide about what needs to be implemented for M3. Then create an M4 issue for the rest.
Must-have features for milestone3, have impact on APIs (at least potential).

The evaluation of API impact was done for M3. There is no API necessary for this, therefore the issue can be implemented in M4. The proposal done during the M3 timeframe is recorded in document: <http://projects.netbeans.org/proposals/vcs/index.html> I'm removing API keyword and changed M3 one to M4.
Reassigning to general mailing list. I'm not working on this at the moment and most probably will not.
