I work on multiple deployments of the same project in netbeans and have found it from time to time frustrating to distinguish which project is the one that I am intending to edit when I am looking at multiple of the same file.  So I'm requesting that the fonts & colors be extended to each project rather than having a global theme.  This would significantly improve my user experience and I can imagine that others with similar use cases would benefit equally.
