I didn't find this bug so hopefully is not duplicate. It seems like the new browser switcher icon is one step behind the real configuration. For example, please try: - create new HTML5 project => Chrome with NB is set - go to project properties, change browser to Firefox => no change in the switcher, still shows Chrome with NB but the file is run in Firefox - again go to project properties, change to Chromium => switcher shows Firefox Please not that although the switcher shows incorrect icon, if you expand it, correct browser is selected. So the issue seems to be only with the visible icon. Although this is not a big deal, it is quite confusing I think Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build web-main-10238-on-20130404) Java: 1.7.0_17; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 23.7-b01 Runtime: Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 1.7.0_17-b32 System: Linux version 3.2.0-39-generic-pae running on i386; UTF-8; en_US (nb)
