If you have a HTML5 project, you can not add a PHP file with "Add new ..."

(PHP is not in the list - but it is needed!)

Use it the other way around: start with a PHP project and write HTML5 code in it.

I realize that this is an old post. but I just stumbled across it doing a simple search for the same issue. The "answer" and change in status to "RESOLVED INVALID" is ludicrous.

What if you're given an existing an existing project to work on.
What if you don't have the option in the work environment.
What if you have a big site that you need to add a bit of php into

It's just matter of adding a little more smarts to the UI

The reply here is the equivalent of "You're holding it wrong"

Please consider reopening and addressing this issue, even as low impact as it is.
