This is not the first time that happens, but yes for this chain of actions.
No error, no process java.exe/javaw.exe pending
Product Version = NetBeans IDE 7.2 (Build 201207171143)

Weird, I haven't seen any other report like this. Is there a crash of JVM log in console ? Are you able to reproduce it for 100% ? What are the actions you'd done before the crash ?
