Product Version = NetBeans IDE 7.1 (Build 201112071828)
Operating System = Linux version 3.1.0-1-amd64 running on amd64
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.6.0_24
Runtime = OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM 20.0-b12

Since I upgraded from 7.0.1 to 7.1 every time I select a word from the auto-complete menu, in the editor, instead of replacing the partial word for the one selected it is erased.

Weird, today is working fine. Yesterday I had to use 7.0.1!
