Created attachment 108174 [details] Bottom bars screenshot In these age of widescreen LCDs which rarely go over 1080px height, vertical space is rare. NetBeans does a good job on using pixels efficiently, with few exceptions, this being one of them: The left part of status bar is usually empty. The right part of the bar which keeps tab of minimized bottom windows is usually empty. See the attachment. I suggest to merge these two bars. FWICT, their content would fit any time. Thanks for considering.
Created attachment 118222 [details] A similar screenshot I agree this would be useful, just hit this myself. I attached another screenshot when the status bar is more busy, but even in this case I think it would fit and the two areas could be merged.
