Description pepijn 2009-12-15 17:22:43 UTC
There is no feedback on successful login to Kenai. The "Login to Kenai" dialog just disappears. There is no pop up or dialog to confirm that the login was successful. The Kenai Dashboard keeps showing the "Login to Kenai..." link. Even when you click on that link the "Login to Kenai" dialog appears again with no indication whatsoever that you are in fact already logged in. And the icon in the status bar stays "disconnected", with only the tool tip indicating that this is incorrect and you are in fact logged in.

This is confusing. At the very least the "Login to Kenai..." link on the Kenai Dashboard should be replaced with an indication that you are currently logged in, and the icon in the status bar should show a connected state.

All of this is with "Online on Chat" deselected. I can't try whether selecting that makes a difference as I can't log in at all when I select that (see bug #178621). But it shouldn't make a difference IMHO.

If you log in, Kenai Dashboard is opened with list of your projects. Please reopen, if this is not your case. Try latest 6.8 or trunk builds. Thanks.

Yep, this has been fixed. The Kenai dashboard looks much better and the feedback is much clearer.
