Before the transition text: 
issue XXXXX
was converted into a link.
Now it does not work and old issues are very hard to browse.

Jindro, can you evaluate this issue? It seems that Bugzilla recognizes only bug xxxx not issue :-)

If it works as you say bug #176231 should be a link to this one, but issue #176231 would not. I'm afraid fixing this would need to change it somewhre in code of bugzilla or replace "issue xxxx" and "issue #xxxx" to "bug ..." :(

Don't forget patterns like
"Issue 123456" (capitalized)
"issue #123456"
"Issue #123456" (capitalized)
"#123456"

Apart from "bug #123456" I suggest, that "bug 123456" should be valid.
