On my system, the UI Gestures Collector can't connect to the server, making bug submissions from out of NetBeans impossible. The dialog says: "[...] However your computer seems to be disconnected from the network. Therefore, we cannot connect to the server to handle your submission request." Out LAN re The Proxy Settings in NetBeans are set to "Use System Proxy Settings". Web Browser is set to "<Default System Browser>", which is IE. Both

Our LAN requires a proxy for HTTP. The Proxy Settings in NetBeans are set to "Use System Proxy Settings". Web Browser is set to "<Default System Browser>", which is IE. LAN settings in IE/Windows are set to "Automatically detect settings", in Firefox it's "Auto-detect proxy settings for this network". Both IE and Firefox can access external sites just fine.
