i don't know who did 6.8 beta branding (if there was any branding at all) will there be new graphics for welcome page in 6.8 as well?
> There is missing word "BETA" because it is not final FCS release yet. As designed. Already with 6.7 we had the welcome screen picture without "beta" at the beta time. See http://hg.netbeans.org/release67_beta/raw-file/tip/welcome/src/org/netbeans/modules/welcome/resources/nb_logo.png Splash and about pictures have the "beta" there. With the welcome picture I don't see this as an issue. Definitely for now, it is wontfix. This is not a stopper. Also, it's a question if every mention of 6.8 needs to be accompanied by the Beta word. I think splash, about, window title, and installer related texts are enough. For example also not all texts on the web will name the product "6.8 Beta" now, some talk about it only as "6.8". > will there be new graphics for welcome page in 6.8 as well? Trunk branding will change to "6.8 DEV" right after 6.8 Beta is released to public. Until then it is just "DEV".
Thanks for explanation. Marking as Verified.
