Regression from NB 6.7, steps to reproduce:
- right click in Projects view (not on any project)
- there's no "Set Main Project" menu

Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 090812)
Java: 1.6.0_14; Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 14.0-b16
System: Linux version 2.6.28-14-generic running on amd64; UTF-8; cs_CZ (nb)

There is menu, but it's disabled.

Main project can be easily unset in Main menu Run -> Set Main Project -> None. Lowering priority to P3.
