Description swpalmer 2009-06-18 16:57:53 UTC
[ BUILD # : 200906142201 ]
[ JDK VERSION : 1.6.* ]

Sometimes when I select "Open Recent Project" NB acts like it is
going to open the project but the project doesn't appear in the
Projects window and the project is removed from the "recent projects"
list.

This happens when I have several other projects already open.
Comment 1 Antonin Nebuzelsky 2009-07-24 13:41:58 UTC
Anyone seen this? Can QA reproduce?
Comment 2 swpalmer 2009-07-24 14:11:24 UTC
During the 6.7 RC phase I would sometimes see a project name of "null" after opening a new project as well. There
appears to be some sort of race condition.

Never have seen it, never have heard of.

Do you use "Open Recent Project" action in menu or in Welcome page? Any error message or exception in messages.log?
Does it happen with some particular project type? Or with particular project?
Comment 4 swpalmer 2009-07-24 14:47:56 UTC
I always open from the context menu in the project window. All of my projects are standard NetBeans JavaSE projects.
This is a rare occurance for sure. I'm not able to reproduce on demand, it's just something you obviously notice when
it happens. I would say that it is more rare with then 6.7 release than it was with the RC builds.. but I can't
recall when I last saw it.
Comment 5 Milan Kubec 2009-09-03 09:38:30 UTC
Lowering priority since it's not reproducible and randomly happens.
Comment 6 Jesse Glick 2010-05-13 14:35:29 UTC
No known way to reproduce.
