I'm unable to reproduce this with any of these scenarios, in latest dev build.Jindra,Michal - could you please add your scenario, if it's different from these mentioned, in case issue is still reproducible for you?
I'm also not able to reproduce with previous scenarios, but an issue is probably still valid since the latest report is of build 090512
OK,I've also seen duplicates number,however without steps to reproduce it will be harder to fix .Marking as incomplete.

http://hg.netbeans.org/main/rev/8184ca645deb push the actual storing of files into the RP thread vai storeListener. The idea is that we can avoid the Children vs. Project MUTEX clashes down the road, but that assumption is only based on the fact that VisualizerNodes shall operate in AWT, if something else grabs Children.MUTEX we are still in trouble. if any problem arises with this (possible) a likely candidate for rollback. There aren't that many duplicates and the road to the exception is not straight..
