Description martinfrancismoverleysmith 2008-10-31 23:51:11 UTC
I enclose a Word attachment with all the relevant screns and will add what I can find in my log plus a further
screenshot of the Netbeans page where it has hung. Moreover please try and answer my other question as to why
downloading 6.1 results in its defaulting to Freeform Java projects rather than the more ordinary ones; I reason that I
oought to be able to do exactly the same with 6.1. as I can with 5.5.1. Please tell me whether you recommend a
reinstall. I have done this already and it does not resolve the issue. I think i will now try it having manually deletd
remaining netbeans components on C first, as I believe that did help last time I got to this point. Martin Smith
It seems I cannot attach an attachment at this stage so I will await the next screen. Regards and thanks MFMS

There is no attachment, please log in into Issuezilla and open the issue. Then use link "Create a new attachment".
Thread dump [1] would be also helpful while ide hangs. It's also good to file separate issue for each problem, then it's
much easier to track the issue.

Questions related to ide is better to put into nb mailing lists (e.g. nbuser@netbeans.org) Then you can get prompt answer.
