On OpenSolaris or on Mac, use a nightly 6.5 build.

Start the IDE
resize it horizontally (take right side and move it to the left and make it as small as possible).
Resize it correctly...See the location of the toolbars...

I think we have this issue reported already. AFAIK problem is that fix is complicated and whole our toolbar code needs
complete rewrite for several years, but it's nearly impossible to allocate time for such house keeping things.

there's 'reset toolbars' action that can help in such situations

Another workaround could be to use Eclipse which implements a correct behavior for a 'platform' window manager :-)

Rest is not a good solution as it destroys all the ui windows setting, not only the toolbar
