Ant 1.7.1 has now been released and this should be available via the update center for 6.1 (and bundled in 6.5).

It will be bundled in 6.5. I have no plans to put it on the update center for 6.1 users; you can always install it
yourself and point to that installation in the Options dialog if you have a particular need for some change in 1.7.1.
